Indonesia has a well established mining industry. With world's richest Nickel reserves, world 2nd biggest Sn reserves and 6th biggest bauxite reserves. Its national owned mining company reported a profit of over USD3.6m.

This makes the country a key player on the global stage and on use of green energy especially Energy Vehicle and Electric batteries on over 146m motorcycles on their roads. Kenya has an opportunity to exploit both up and down stream of her green REE, carry out value addition and create wealth, jobs and foreign. This among others are the investment opportunities that we shared and vouched for in Jakarta. Together with CS Moses Kuria, we met the Coordinating Minister for Maritime affairs and Investment; Mr Luhut Binser who coordinates several Ministries amongst them Energy and Mining among other interested investors.
